Haseaf is responsible for your personal data (the data controller) when you use the Haseaf platform.

What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, sign-in details): to create your account and provide the service — to perform our contract with you.
• Usage data (test results, points, streak): to show your progress and the leaderboard — to perform our contract.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser type): for security, fraud prevention and improving the platform — our legitimate interest.
• Support messages: to answer your questions — our legitimate interest.

Your display name and points are shown publicly on the leaderboard and your profile page. Your email is never shown to anyone.

Who we share data with

• Technical service providers (hosting and databases) that run the platform.
• Paddle, as Merchant of Record, to complete sales and manage plans, payments, taxes and invoices.
• Professional advisers (legal and accounting) when needed.
• Public authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active, then delete or anonymise it once it is no longer needed or when you ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data, and to object to its processing, under the applicable personal data protection law.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit and access controls.

Cookies

We only use the storage needed to keep you signed in and make the platform work. We do not use marketing cookies.
